Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4 ten-hour shifts, from 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM. Availability for call-ins and assistance on holidays is required. Rotation includes every other Saturday/Sunday.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in a high-acuity environment. This role will involve direct patient interaction, assessment, and intervention according to established protocols. The RN will ensure that high clinical standards are maintained while working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health status and manage medical interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the charting system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in the orientation and mentoring of new nursing staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a nursing specialty.
• Active Ohio RN license required; compact licenses accepted for starts from January 1, 2023, and onward.
• Covid-19 and flu vaccines required, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) must be active.
• Reference required from a manager or supervisor in the specialty.
