Schedule
This is a 13-week contract position with a Day shift schedule, working Monday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Rotating weekends to cover vacations are required.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist with a valid NY license to start immediately. The successful candidate will be proficient in performing imaging procedures and effectively utilizing the EPIC charting system. This position requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary.
- Participate in rotating on-call shifts and weekend coverage as needed.
- Follow all protocols for radiation safety.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT/X-Ray Technologist.
- Current NY state license is required upon start.
- Certification in BLS and ARRT(R) required; IV certification is mandatory.
- ARRT(CT) certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in EPIC charting is necessary.
- Experience in working with diverse patient populations is a plus.
