Job Description
The Physical Therapist I/II / Advanced Physical Therapist I/II position is responsible for providing quality physical therapy services to a predominately Native American population for the treatment or prevention of physical disability or disease. This role includes the management and implementation of the Physical Therapy program, as well as conducting evaluations and treatment for both inpatients and outpatients, with an age range from birth through geriatric.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment.
- Deliver specialty services such as wound care, prosthetic and orthotic clinic, and various therapy clinics.
- Assume direction and development of the physical therapy section.
- Participate in continuing quality improvement, risk management, and safety initiatives.
- Engage in staff education, reporting, staff meetings, and in-service activities.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree from a CAPTE accredited school of Physical Therapy.
- Valid, current, full and unrestricted physical therapy license in any U.S. state, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
- Must meet credentialing requirements to serve on the Medical Staff.
