Job Description
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures with independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed CT techniques for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine diagnostic procedures with proficiency.
- Obtain intravenous access when required.
- Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with excellent oral and written skills, demonstrating strong interpersonal abilities.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year CT/PET experience.
- EPIC EMR experience (mandatory).
- Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
- ARRT certification in CT (required).
- Previous/current travel experience is strongly encouraged.
- Contrast injection experience is mandatory.
- GE scanner experience is preferred.
