This is a day shift position working 4x12-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Weekend requirement includes working 1 Saturday a month.
Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, particularly focusing on abdomen and pelvis imaging. The candidate is expected to float within the department as needed and utilize Epic for charting. Experience with abdominal and pelvic imaging is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans with a focus on abdomen and pelvis.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Utilize Epic for accurate charting and record-keeping.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for radiation safety.
- Assist in the training of new staff and students as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- ARRT certification (Radiography) required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI, specifically with abdomen and pelvis imaging.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
- No Pennsylvania state license required.
