Schedule

AM Shift: 08:00 – 16:30, 5 × 8 hr shifts per week.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist performs MRI studies following established protocols set by Radiologists. This role involves the operation of MRI scanners to produce high-quality images, as well as preparing the scan room and equipment accordingly. The technologist positions patients, utilizes coils and equipment as needed, and maintains communication with patients throughout the scanning process.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI studies according to set protocols.
• Operate MRI scanner to produce consistent, optimal quality images.
• Prepare scan rooms and equipment as appropriate for procedures.
• Position patients and use coils and other equipment as required.
• Maintain open communication with patients during scanning procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is required.
• 1 year of experience in CT or MRI is preferred.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from the date of hire.
• Required: Reg Technologist (R) and Reg Technologist (MR).
• Basic Life Support certification required.
