Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a strong background in Labor and Delivery, with exceptional clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients.
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and manage complications as they arise.
- Administer medications and IV therapies as per protocols.
- Conduct assessments and monitor fetal heart rates using electronic fetal monitoring.
- Support patients with lactation and breastfeeding education.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current and strong experience in Labor and Delivery (minimum 2 years).
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required.
- MD or Compact license in hand.
- Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
