This is a 12-hour day shift position, with weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool. As a member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality care to patients across various inpatient units, including ICU, Step-down, and Medical/Surgical. You will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across different units, including Med/Surg, Step-down, and ICU.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort, monitoring vital signs and conditions regularly.
• Titrate drips as required in step-down areas.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC).

Required Experience / Certifications

• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Background in Med/Surg nursing; experience in Step-down preferred.
• Ability to manage and titrate multiple intravenous drips as needed.
