Schedule
10-hour shifts, Days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with coverage every 3rd Saturday and call every 3rd day.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer with pediatric experience to perform echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs). You will work in a department equipped with two scanning rooms and one holding area.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized echocardiograms and TEEs.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients.
- Ensure accurate recording and documentation of imaging studies in the EMR system.
- Coordinate with RNs for stress echocardiograms when needed.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- BLS certification (AHA).
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with a focus on Adult Echocardiography (AE) and Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) preferred.
- Experience performing standard and transesophageal echocardiograms.
