Description

Echo Tech - 130

Location: Parkersburg, West Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Department

ECHO/CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER (cost center 130)
2 rooms and 1 holding area, with scanning in 3 areas

Required Qualifications

Echo Technologist with 2 years of experience
Echo Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
RDCS-AE or RDMS or RDCS or CCI
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Driver's License

Preferred

ARDMS AE and PE
Ability to do standard studies and TEEs
Pediatric experience is a huge plus

Float / Coverage

Does not float or cover other areas; only Echos and TEEs

Schedule

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with possible later start depending on the first study
Coverage every 3rd Saturday
Call every 3rd day

Additional Notes

Average volume: 15–20 studies per day
Equipment: Phillips
EPIC and PACS are used
RN from cath lab starts IVs
