Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatry and Behavioral Health to provide exceptional care to adult patients. This role involves working in a dynamic environment with a focus on mental health and addiction treatment. The ideal candidate will be proactive in patient assessments, medication administration, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and respond to patient needs during shifts.
• Administer emergency and regular medications as prescribed.
• Manage admissions and discharges of patients.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to handle crisis situations.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EHR systems such as HCS and Pxyis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a psychiatric nursing role.
• Current BLS certification.
• Handle With Care certification is required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Must have experience with COWS and CIWAs protocols.
