This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

Night shift, 5x8 hours (4 PM - 12:30 AM). Weekend call rotation and overnight call approximately once per week are required.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans across various patient demographics, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The department operates two MRI rooms with an average daily census of about 30 patients, utilizing Philips MRI scanners and the Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI scans including abdominal, pelvic, head and neck imaging, musculoskeletal, and spine MRI.
Prepare and administer contrast for MRI procedures.
Utilize diffusion imaging, MIP, and multiplanar reconstruction techniques.
Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Required Experience

A minimum of 1 year of MRI experience is required.
Experience in adult acute care, adult ICU, and trauma is required.
Pediatric acute care and outpatient experience is preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
CPR certification is required.
