Schedule/Shift
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Every other Saturday: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
Job Description
The Lead CT Technologist will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing CT imaging procedures. The technologist will work with patients of all age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The position entails performing various CT scans, including protocols for abdominal, cardiac, and other specialized studies, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures.
- Oversee daily operations of the CT unit.
- Lead a team of CT technologists and coordinate workflow.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and protocols.
- Manage patient care from preparation through aftercare.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update patient records using Cerner.
- Administer contrast media and assist with interventional procedures.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Experience in hospital and LTAC settings.
- Charge experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- ARRT certification in CT and Radiography.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active Maryland or Compact Medical License.
