Job Description
Join the dynamic team at Grand Strand Medical Center, a 345-bed acute-care hospital recognized for its commitment to quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse in the Radiology department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing radiological procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety while maintaining the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Document patient care activities and outcomes efficiently in the electronic medical record.
Required Experience
- Current RN license in South Carolina.
- Experience in a radiology or imaging setting preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
