This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
This position requires 40 hours of work per week with a schedule from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday. There are no weekends or holidays involved, and no call duties are required.
Job Description
The Cath Lab Technician specializing in Cardiac CT scans will be responsible for performing high-quality cardiovascular imaging procedures in an acute care setting. You will be working with advanced cardiac imaging technology and will float to the radiology department as necessary. Proficient use of the EPIC charting system is expected.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac CT scans and other cardiovascular imaging procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient care.
- Document patient information accurately in the EPIC charting system.
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting imaging equipment.
Required Experience
Experience in cardiac imaging and familiarity with the EPIC charting system is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
