This position requires 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing a comprehensive assessment of patient needs, diagnoses, and treatment plans. This role involves monitoring patient health, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring that care practices meet established standards and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform assessments and monitor patients for changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members in the development of patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Required Experience
Candidate must have a valid RN license and relevant experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
Certifications/Licensure
Current RN license in the state of Florida is required; BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
