Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, guaranteed 48 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions. This unit supports the management and treatment of patients requiring close monitoring and specialized assistance. RNs in this role will leverage their skills in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and delivering competent care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' condition to provide timely intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments as per prescribed orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans.
• Document patient observations and care provided in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and health maintenance.

Required Experience

Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be preferred.
