Description

Title: MRI Tech
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Unit Description: Ground Founders
Description:
SHIFT IS FLEXIBLE, they have several holes and can consider most days/shifts. Please include preferences on submission

Must hold ARRT registered in MRI, CPR required
Performs a variety of MRI and MRA procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols and assists the Radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Technologist will operate MRI scanner, all RF coils, MRI workstations, laser cameras, film processors, patient monitoring equipment, MR injectors.
They will assist patients in understanding procedures, screen for Biomedical and metallic implants; ask pertinent questions regarding medical history, change patients into dressing gowns.
Perform proper procedures and protocols for various studies done in the section.
The MRI Technologist will treat all patients professionally and function as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishments of their imaging needs.

On-call, Holiday and some weekend rotations.
