Start Date: July 21, 2026 (Only Available Start Date)
Duration: 10 Weeks (Ends September 26, 2026)
Shift: Nights, 3x12s
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Schedule: Every Other Weekend Required | Every 3rd Holiday Required
Float: Required to areas within acuity
Position Overview
ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) for a 10-week travel assignment. This is an EPIC Project assignment where travelers will provide direct patient care while permanent staff members are participating in training.
Requirements

Active Delaware RN License or Compact RN License (in hand at submission)

Minimum 2 years of Rehabilitation RN experience (required; no exceptions)

Recent EPIC experience required

RN License Number and Expiration Date

List of Certifications with Expiration Dates

Full SSN, DOB, and Address required at submission

Maximum of 3 days RTO (Requests after submission will not be considered)

Scheduling & Overtime

Travelers are not authorized to pick up overtime shifts.

Incidental overtime is not approved.

In the event of a code, rapid response, or significant patient event near shift change, nurses are expected to provide a timely handoff and coordinate with Charge Nurses, ANMs, or Nurse Managers to ensure safe transition of care.
Meal Break Expectations

All staff are expected to take scheduled meal breaks.

Missed meal breaks cannot be accumulated for additional pay.

Charge Nurses, ANMs, and Nurse Managers are available to assist with patient coverage as needed.
Additional Notes

Travelers will be working on the unit providing patient care while permanent staff complete EPIC training.

Professional communication and timely patient handoff are expected at all shift changes.
