Job Overview

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, no weekends

Job Description

Physical therapists diagnose and treat individuals of all ages with medical or health-related conditions that limit movement and functional activities. Responsibilities include:

Evaluating and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs
Developing treatment plans to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
Providing education on injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative and rehabilitation therapy
Supervising physical therapy assistants and aides
Working in various healthcare settings including hospitals and outpatient clinics

Requirements

Must hold a valid Alabama Physical Therapist license
Minimum of 2 years recent PT experience, preferably in a hospital setting
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
State licensure required for practice

Contract Length

13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Additional Notes

Experience with inpatient and outpatient care is required
No weekend shifts
Must meet facility submission requirements for consideration
