Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and supervising assigned personnel.

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (must be current and valid)
2 to 5 years of nursing experience (higher value taken as requirement)
ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care
Patient ratio: 6:1
