Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with on-call duties
Hours per Week: 36

Provide patient care in the Operating Room as part of the surgical team, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering care.
Responsibilities include ensuring supplies are available, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
Must be able to float between campuses as needed.
Work according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, physician orders, and hospital policies.
Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner (experience required).

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT Surgery, and Urology
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record system
