Description

Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel)

Location

  • Tucson, Arizona

Position Details

  • Travel assignment
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3 twelve-hour shifts per week)
  • Schedule includes working 6 weekend shifts over the 13-week contract (Saturdays and Sundays)
  • Float pool position requiring willingness to float between multiple departments and facilities within the region
  • Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1

Job Description

  • Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe care delivery
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
  • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
  • Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Arizona
  • Telemetry experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Work Hours

  • Approximately 36 hours per week

  • Scrub color is flexible (any color allowed)
