Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel)

Location

Tucson, Arizona

Position Details

Travel assignment
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3 twelve-hour shifts per week)
Schedule includes working 6 weekend shifts over the 13-week contract (Saturdays and Sundays)
Float pool position requiring willingness to float between multiple departments and facilities within the region
Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1

Job Description

Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe care delivery
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Telemetry experience with a minimum of 2 years, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Work Hours

Approximately 36 hours per week
