Job Opportunity: RN - Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel


Job Description

  • Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
  • Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
  • This is a float pool position requiring willingness to float between departments and multiple facilities.

Schedule

  • Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
  • Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (3/12's)
  • 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in telemetry or medical-surgical nursing

Additional Information

  • Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1
  • EMR system: Cerner
  • Scrub color: Any color allowed
  • Must be willing to float between departments and multiple facilities within the system
