Job Opportunity: RN - Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
This is a float pool position requiring willingness to float between departments and multiple facilities.

Schedule

Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (3/12's)
6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in telemetry or medical-surgical nursing

Additional Information

Patient-to-nurse ratio: 6:1
EMR system: Cerner
Scrub color: Any color allowed
Must be willing to float between departments and multiple facilities within the system
