Description

Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
Schedule: 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
Position Type: Float Pool (must be willing to float between multiple departments and facilities)


Job Description

  • Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
  • Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Arizona
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system
  • Ability and willingness to float between multiple departments and facilities

  • Start date: ASAP, preferably within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
