Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Norfolk, VA currently seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their Special Education team for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. The position is 35 hours per week and involves working with students across grade levels to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
State SLP License in State of Residence
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)


Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
