Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)
StartDate: 3/23/2026 Available Shifts: 7.5 D Pay Rate: $1540.00 - $1587.00

The school facilities in Deland are part of an 'A' rated district, known for supportive and collaborative environments. The candidate will find opportunities for dynamic interactions and meaningful work with students. As part of this traveling Speech-Language Pathology position, you will work with a K-12 grade setting, requiring travel to multiple school sites. This is a full-time role with an expectation of 37.5 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Friday. Note that payment is only for hours worked, and there is no compensation for school holidays or closures due to teacher workshops and inclement weather. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
State License is Required to Start the Assignment


Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
