Occupational Therapist - School - (OT - School)
StartDate: 4/1/2026 Available Shifts: 7.5 D Pay Rate: $2130.00 - $2195.00

AMN is seeking a passionate and collaborative Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a Kennesaw-area school district team for the remainder of the school year. You’ll partner with students from Pre-K through 12th grade to support their development across motor, sensory, and functional skills—with the stability of a full-time schedule and the camaraderie of a supportive district environment. Key Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations to identify strengths and needs in fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills. • Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s IEP/504 goals. [us.trabajo.org], • Deliver OT services through one-on-one sessions and group interventions, adapting strategies for different age groups and classroom environments. • Document progress meticulously and prepare reports for IEP reviews, collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators. • Participate in weekly multidisciplinary meetings, IEP meetings, and school-wide initiatives (e.g., PBIS, MTSS, UDL), integrating OT perspectives into educational programming. • Provide consultative support to classroom teachers, staff, and families to embed therapeutic strategies into daily routines. • Requirements • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. • Active Occupational Therapy licensure in Georgia. • Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred. • Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative, family-centered care. Required Qualifications
Occupational Therapist, School
OT-GA Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active State Occupational Therapy (OT) license


Preferred Qualifications
Initial certification through NBCOT
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Completion of a criminal record and background check
