Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 7 D Pay Rate: $3162.00 - $3258.00
In Pomona, CA, the speech-language pathology opportunity allows you to immerse into a vibrant community known for its rich culture and various attractions. Weekend getaways can be filled with visits to unique local spots or nearby event spaces. Pomona is also conveniently located near Los Angeles, offering endless entertainment and educational experiences. The position is within a school setting from PreK to 12th grade. Although two schools will be the maximum locations traveled, expect a manageable caseload of up to 55 students. Your expertise in AAC will be valuable in enhancing the communication skills of the students served. The role is designed to engage those with the ability to work effectively across sites, adapting to different environments as needed.
Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
State License is Required to Start the Assignment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
