Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care - (RRT - PICU)
StartDate: 3/9/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $2224.00 - $2291.00

RRT and CRT jobs in Des Moines, Iowa let you provide respiratory care for all ages, primarily in PICU or NICU, and float across multiple campuses as needed. Shift Notes: Nights, 6:30p-6:30a, 36 hrs/week, Call: None; Weekends - every 3rd including holiday rotation Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend & Holiday rotation if scheduled On Call Requirements: None You will be cross-trained to assist on the general pediatric floor and work with advanced equipment including HFOV, Jet, and Servo U. This role requires at least 3 years of hospital or medical center experience, PICU or NICU experience, Iowa RCP license, BLS (AHA), and NRP or PALS certification. CRTs are accepted, and you may be required to float between locations. Required Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist, PICU Experience: 3 years RT-IA Certifications: BLS(Copy needed); PALS(Copy needed) OR Registered Respiratory Therapist, NICU Experience: 3 years RT-IA Certifications: BLS(Copy needed); NRP(Copy needed) SSN Required DOB Required References: 1 Reference in entire work history PICU or NICU experience - may work across picu/nicu floor (Candidate will be cross trained on general Pediatric floor to assist when needed
ALL certs/IA RCP license in hand (IA licensing turnaround time varies)
