Known for its lively local culture, exquisite scenery, and warm community spirit, Peterborough offers a refreshing setting with opportunities to engage in numerous events and attractions. The town is celebrated for its rich local history and active community centers, creating a supportive backdrop for professionals. You will work within a dynamic high school setting, sharing responsibilities with another full-time psychologist. Together, you will manage 130 special education students, including 15 counseling students. Your role will encompass conducting assessments, counseling, and participating in various IEP meetings concerning assessments and counseling. This position entails working 32.5 hours per week, offering an excellent opportunity to make a substantial impact in students' lives. While the school is not named, you can expect a motivational environment where your contributions will resonate with students, families, and the broader educational team.

Required Qualifications
Psychologist, School

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
State Certification and / or Licensure is Required to Start the Assignment


Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a School Setting is Preferred
Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members
Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions
