Physical Therapist (PT) - School - (PT - School)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 7.5 D Pay Rate: $2227.00 - $2295.00
AMN Healthcare is partnering with a school district in Anchorage, AK to hire a highly motivated and energetic Physical Therapist (PT) who is passionate about helping children achieve success. This position offers the opportunity to work with one of the top districts in the area, providing services to students of all ages in a friendly, positive, and professional environment. The Physical Therapist will conduct evaluations, develop and implement effective treatment plans, and support students in reducing pain, improving mobility, and restoring functional skills necessary for success in the school setting. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the school district as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students in restoring and maintaining physical function. Screen and evaluate students referred for physical therapy services. Collect, analyze, and document assessment data; prepare clear and accurate reports. Identify movement dysfunctions and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services in accordance with student needs and IEPs. Maintain accurate documentation and billing in compliance with district and state requirements. Communicate effectively with teachers, district staff, families, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and treatment plans.
