School Psychologist (PSY) - School - (PSY - School)
StartDate: 8/10/2026 Available Shifts: 6.4 D Pay Rate: $2173.00 - $2239.00

This onsite School Psychologist position is based near Bailey, Colorado, a scenic mountain community in the foothills of the Rockies. The area offers easy access to hiking, biking, skiing, and year-round outdoor recreation, while still being within reach of the Denver metro region. This is a 4-day-per-week assignment (Monday through Thursday), typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for approximately 32 hours weekly during the 2024–2025 school year. The schedule supports excellent work-life balance and allows time to enjoy the mountain lifestyle. You will serve students across designated school sites with a diverse caseload that may include multiple grade levels. Daily responsibilities include psychoeducational assessments, counseling, behavioral and academic consultation, classroom observations, and participation in IEP and 504 meetings. You will support MTSS/RTI processes, contribute to intervention planning, and assist with crisis response and safety planning as needed. The district emphasizes collaboration and a team-based approach. You will work closely with teachers, related service providers, and administrators in a supportive, student-centered environment where your expertise is valued and your impact on students’ academic, social, and emotional growth is clearly visible.

Preferred Qualifications
Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions
Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members
Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
