Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School - (SLP - School)
StartDate: 8/21/2026 Available Shifts: 7.5 D Pay Rate: $2204.00 - $2271.00

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well-respected school district in Dearborn, MI to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students’ academic and social development. Responsibilities for this role include conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. The SLP will also develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs. Throughout the course of the school year they will provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings. They will monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. The SLP will also provide training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment.

Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Experience: New Grad Accepted
Licenses: SLP-MI

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
State SLP License in Michigan
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)

Preferred Qualifications
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations

Ford Motors is located in Dearborn, Michigan. There is a manufacturing plant by the name of “Rouge Factory” that is so big it even used to have its own police and fire department. The Henry Ford Museum is a very big area and one can pay a visit to JFK's limousine. There is also an Arab-American Museum which is one of the few museums that is committed to present the Arab-American culture through interactive exhibits.
