School Psychologist (PSY) - School - (PSY - School)
StartDate: 8/31/2026 Available Shifts: 7.5 D Pay Rate: $2593.00 - $2672.00

This School Psychologist role is based in Kelso, WA, a welcoming Pacific Northwest community known for its natural beauty, access to the Columbia River, and proximity to hiking, water activities, and regional attractions in Cowlitz County. The area offers a relaxed small-town environment with easy drives to larger urban centers. In this school-based position, you will provide psychoeducational assessments, collaborate on IEP and MTSS/RTI teams, support behavioral and academic interventions, and offer consultation to teachers, families, and administrators. Typical responsibilities include evaluating students, participating in problem-solving meetings, contributing to eligibility determinations, and supporting crisis response as needed. The caseload is school-age K-12, with services delivered during standard school-day hours following the academic calendar.

Required Qualifications
Psychologist, School
Licenses: PSY-WA

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
State Certification and / or Licensure is Required to Start the Assignment


Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a School Setting is Preferred
Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members
Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions
