Job Description & Requirements
Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2124.00 - $2189.00

Join a dynamic outpatient Physical Therapy team in Lawrenceville, Georgia, a thriving and fast-growing city within the greater Atlanta metropolitan area. Lawrenceville offers a welcoming, community-oriented lifestyle with a revitalized historic downtown, local restaurants, coffee shops, and cultural events that create a true “live, work, play” environment. Residents enjoy easy access to Atlanta’s professional sports, major concerts, museums, and international dining, while still benefiting from the comfort and convenience of a smaller city. Lawrenceville is known for its community events, outdoor concerts, and family-friendly festivals held at venues such as the Lawrenceville Lawn and the surrounding downtown district. The area provides abundant recreational opportunities with nearby parks, trails, and lakes for walking, running, biking, and water activities. Its location provides a reasonable commute to other desirable Atlanta-area suburbs, making it an excellent choice for professionals seeking both career growth and quality of life. This outpatient Physical Therapy position is based in a modern rehabilitation and performance center focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. The clinic is designed to support both traditional orthopedic rehabilitation and higher-level performance and return-to-sport programming. You will work alongside a collaborative group of clinicians who value professional development, collegial support, and a patient-first approach. Typical responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations of musculoskeletal and movement-related conditions, development of individualized plans of care, and progression of patients through all phases of rehabilitation. The caseload commonly includes orthopedic injuries, post-surgical cases, sports-related conditions, chronic pain, and functional mobility limitations. You will have the opportunity to incorporate manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training tailored to each patient’s goals. The clinic environment is structured to allow for focused one-on-one and small-group treatment sessions. Patient volume and scheduling are designed to balance productivity expectations with the time needed for high-quality, personalized care. On a typical day, you will perform evaluations, re-evaluations, and follow-up treatment sessions, coordinate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals, and complete accurate documentation within the EMR. The facility prioritizes a culture of teamwork, communication, and shared clinical knowledge. You will have opportunities to collaborate with other therapists, participate in internal education, and contribute to program enhancements that support sports, orthopedic, and performance-based services. The outpatient setting is ideal for clinicians who are motivated by measurable functional outcomes and who enjoy building long-term relationships with active, goal-driven patients. Standard hours generally follow a weekday schedule, with potential for some early morning or evening appointments to meet patient needs. The structure supports a consistent routine while still offering variety in your daily caseload and clinical focus. Patient-to-therapist ratios are maintained to protect the integrity of care and allow you to apply best practices consistently. This role is an excellent fit for a Physical Therapist who values a supportive outpatient environment, wants to deepen expertise in orthopedics and performance rehab, and is excited to live and work in a vibrant metro-Atlanta community.
