This outpatient Physical Therapist position is based in Avondale, Arizona, a vibrant West Valley community within the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. In this role, you will evaluate and treat a primarily orthopedic outpatient caseload, including patients recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical procedures, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. A typical day includes performing comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, delivering hands-on treatments and therapeutic exercise programs, and providing education to patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness strategies. You will collaborate closely with referring physicians and other providers to coordinate care and track patient progress, maintaining thorough and timely documentation in the clinic’s EMR system. Patient schedules are structured to balance quality of care with productivity expectations, allowing you to focus on meaningful, one-on-one treatment sessions. Caseloads commonly include active adults, student and recreational athletes, and individuals returning to work or sport, offering opportunities to specialize within orthopedic and sports-related rehabilitation. You will contribute to the overall clinic flow, participate in team meetings, and may assist with new program development or community education activities related to physical therapy and injury prevention.
