This position focuses on CT imaging using GE equipment, allowing you to build and deepen your experience with GE platforms. Typical responsibilities include performing CT exams according to established protocols, ensuring proper patient identification and safety procedures, and maintaining optimal image quality. You will prepare and position patients, coordinate contrast administration when indicated, and collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare team members to support accurate and timely diagnoses. Radiation safety and dose optimization are core expectations, along with clear documentation and use of the facility’s EMR and radiology information systems. The scheduled shift is 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, offering a defined three-day workweek with long shifts that can support continuity of care and a consistent routine. On-call coverage may be required, which can include urgent or emergent CT exams outside standard hours. The imaging environment can be busy, with variable patient volumes and a mix of scheduled and add-on exams, so the ability to stay organized and calm under pressure is important. Patient ratios will depend on daily volume and exam complexity, with teamwork used to ensure safe and efficient throughput. You will work with GE CT scanners and associated equipment, in a setting that expects advanced registry-level expertise in CT. This includes performing a range of exams such as neuro, chest, abdomen, pelvis, musculoskeletal, and trauma-related CT imaging, and contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and patient-centered care. The department supports structured processes for credentialing and compliance; all documentation must be completed and submitted at least one week before the planned start date to begin work on time. Free on-site parking is available, supporting convenient access to the facility for long shifts and potential call responsibilities. The notice expectation is 30 days, recognizing the need to maintain continuity in patient services and department operations.
