Physical Therapist Inpatient in Atlantis, Florida. This position involves providing inpatient rehabilitative care within a 42-bed adult inpatient rehabilitation unit. The role requires working during day shifts on an 8-hour schedule, with considerations for weekend and holiday rotations, and it is suitable for qualified professionals with acute care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or inpatient rehabilitation experience.

Job Details:

Location: Atlantis, FL
Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with weekend coverage approximately one weekend per month; weekdays off provided to balance schedule.
Required Qualifications: Valid Florida Physical Therapist license; BLS certification; at least 1 year of current hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or SNF experience; open to candidates with home health experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree preferred.
Unit Description: 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit serving orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical patient populations.
Staffing: Day shift staffing includes a Director, Lead Physical Therapist, 45 Physical Therapists, and 56 Physical Therapist Assistants; night shift staffing varies based on volume.
Typical Procedures: Inpatient therapy services focusing on orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical and surgical patients.
Equipment Used: Treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, exercise bikes.
EMR System: Meditech.
Personality Fit: Critical thinker, team player, compassionate, technologically adept, excellent time management skills.
