A Contract Physical Therapist specializing in outpatient care is sought in Chesapeake, Virginia. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries in a clinical setting, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Chesapeake, Virginia
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice in Virginia, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience, 1 year of experience treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries, and manual therapy techniques
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating sprains, strains, and fractures; experience treating 14-16 patients per day; at least 2 years of practicing as a physical therapist
- Additional Information: Contract position involving evaluation and treatment of orthopedic injuries, effective communication with medical teams, and assistance in patient issue identification.
