A Physical Therapist specializing in inpatient care is sought for a position located in Aventura, Florida. This role involves providing physical therapy services within a facility's inpatient unit. The position offers a flexible schedule with approximately 36 hours per week, primarily during daytime shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Aventura, Florida
• Position: Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP)
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient or rehabilitation settings, familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Additional Information:
  • Unit Information: 467 beds with a new 26-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
  • Staff: Approximately 40 members
  • Typical Procedures: Extended treatment sessions, team conference attendance
  • Call Requirements: Rotating weekends
  • Dress Code: Light gray scrubs
  • Equipment: Treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, BITS
  • Certification and Skills Needed: Valid Florida PT license, BLS certification
  • Notes: No night shift available; inpatient unit with diverse treatment procedures
