Description

Job Summary:
The Denver, Colorado-based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (RCIS) position involves supporting cardiac procedures in a fast-paced acute care setting. The role requires assisting in the scrub, monitor, and circulating roles within the department, managing an average of 10-20 cases per day. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and have at least one year of experience in a cardiovascular laboratory environment.

Job Details:

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (American Heart Association), Registered Cardiologic Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (Cardiovascular Credentialing International), Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (Registered)
  • Education Requirements: Certification in Radiologic Technology, RCIS certification, minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting
  • Location: Denver, Colorado
  • Years of Experience: 0 or more
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 4x10 hour shifts per week, with schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Additional Information:
    • Unit includes 2 cath labs, 2 electrophysiology suites, and 1 hybrid suite
    • Typical cases per day range from 10 to 20
    • Shift includes weeknight and weekend call requirements, with a response time of 30 minutes
    • Floating within department may be required in Zone 3: OCH, LUH, SAH, SAN
    • Unit-specific orientation is provided
    • Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
  • Submission Requirements: Profile review with MedSol Clinical, interview with the unit manager at the facility, drivers license must be submitted
  • Trauma Level: 1
  • Care Setting: Acute
  • Shift Notes: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with call responsibilities as noted above
