Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in THE DALLES, Oregon. This role involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. Candidates must have the necessary certifications and qualifications as outlined below.
Job Details:
- Location: THE DALLES, Oregon
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); Advanced Certification in the modality of CT in Oregon or Hawaii; required in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California and Oregon; valid fluoroscopy license in the state of employment, preferred in California and Oregon; venipuncture certification, preferred in California and Oregon; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; required in all states of employment; completion of all recommended vaccinations prior to employment.
- Certifications: ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT); BLS from AHA or ARC
- Additional Information: Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment, maintains accurate records, and ensures the security of patient data in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
