Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist position is located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This role involves performing general diagnostic radiology procedures with a focus on large hospital experience, including portable radiography, C-arm, and operating room (OR) experience. Candidates are required to bring their ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) license on the first day. The position entails adhering to departmental protocols and maintaining an active registration status.

Job Details:

• Location: Chapel Hill, North Carolina
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Accredited Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program; ARRT Certified in Radiography; must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements annually; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Demonstrates thorough knowledge of general diagnostic radiology, adheres to departmental protocols, and effectively utilizes RIS, HIS, PACS, and SMS systems to access and document procedure statuses. Performs quality radiographic images consistently, verifies patient identity and history, assesses patient condition, reacts appropriately to emergencies, and maintains a safe work environment.
