Job Summary:
The location is in Sanford, Maine. This is a critical access facility seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position. The role involves providing respiratory care in an adult intensive care unit, emergency room, and nursery, with experience in high-risk deliveries, pediatric and adult critical care, and neonatal resuscitation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

• Required Qualifications: RRT certification, BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications; active RRT license; minimum 2 years of relevant experience; experience working in adult ICU, pediatric ER, nursery including high-risk deliveries; familiarity with Drager V500 and V60 bipap ventilators, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilator, neopuff, EPIC documentation system; strong assessment skills; confidence working as the sole Respiratory Therapist in the ED and campus.
• Preferred Qualifications: NICU and PICU experience for treatment of newborns and critically ill pediatric patients in the ER.
• Additional Information: Strong clinical skills are necessary to handle any respiratory patient in a critical access setting where only one Respiratory Therapist is working per shift. The position involves working in both the emergency department and nursery settings.
