Physical Therapist Outpatient in Burke, Virginia. Job Details

• Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; six months of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; active license for the state where work will be performed
• Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of previous assignments with the agency or organization is highly desired; completion of an assignment with the organization previously is nice to have
• Additional Information: Performs comprehensive patient evaluations, develops individualized treatment plans focused on discharge objectives within the established length of stay, and maintains accurate, timely medical record documentation. Participates in student programs with appropriate supervision, actively pursues professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional organizations. Adheres to state practice acts and maintains licensure in good standing, following organizational performance improvement initiatives and safety protocols. Demonstrates a commitment to patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling, infectious disease control, and slip/trip/fall prevention. Maintains professional standards and contributes to the organizations quality improvement efforts.
