Description
Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position involves planning, organizing, developing, and supervising occupational therapy treatments in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Valid, current State license in occupational therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Assesses patient's level of functioning based on physician orders
- Plans and implements appropriate treatment plans based on assessments
- Participates in interdisciplinary team process and discharge planning
- Supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and students
- Completes all documentation according to department policy
- Demonstrates good safety practices and maintains patient confidentiality
- Coordinates with patients and families for education and equipment use
- Attends team conferences and contributes to quality improvement initiatives
