Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an acute care setting in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized speech and swallowing interventions for patients with acute stroke and other conditions requiring communication and swallowing therapies. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day.
Job Details:
- Specialty: SLP ACUTE
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts
- Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per day, with weekend on-call responsibilities.
- Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts license, American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) certification, at least 2 years of experience with acute stroke patients, competent in conducting modified barium swallow studies (there is no official certification), must have been separated from the organization for 6 or more months to be considered (permanent, per diem, or contract). No local candidates will be considered.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute stroke setting and proficiency in modified barium swallow studies.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be screened with a manager and have BILH Coversheet filled out with all submissions. The start date for this position is June 29, 2026.
- Schedule: 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Travel Required: No.
