Job Summary:
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Boston, Massachusetts. This opportunity involves providing acute care speech-language pathology services in a Level 1 trauma center. Candidates must have at least 4-5 years of experience, including acute inpatient settings, with expertise in high-level acute care, including managing patients with tracheostomies and vents. The role requires proficiency in either Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) or Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), along with active American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) certification and a valid Massachusetts license. Candidates are expected to bring their license on the first day of employment.

• Schedule: 8-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Flexibility: Float rotation not required
• Additional Information: The inpatient team is at an acute Level 1 Trauma Center and Joint Commission comprehensive stroke center. The facility receives multiple med flights daily, indicating the need for highly skilled clinicians experienced with medically complex patients. Candidates must be able to demonstrate competence in either MBS or FEES; official certification is not required but relevant experience is necessary.
