Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified CT Technologist to fill a position in Brooklyn, New York. The role involves performing computed tomography (CT) procedures following prescribed protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Brooklyn, New York
- Schedule: 8:00 A.M. 5:00 P.M. (Days shift)
- Hours per day: 7.5 hours
- Minimum hours per week: 37.5 hours
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of Radiologic Technologist program; New York State License (L.R.T); ARRT certification in Radiography and CT; BLS certification; at least 1 year of CT experience; 3 years of experience in computed tomography (CT)
- Additional Information: Performs CT procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure uniformity and accuracy. Exercises appropriate judgment to assess and respond to patient needs before, during, and after visits in the radiology department. Maintains documentation of imaging procedures, quality control checks, and safety practices to adhere to radiation safety guidelines and regulatory policies.
