Job Summary:
The computed tomography (CT) technologist position is based in Sonora, California. The role involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The technologist will also perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as needed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Sonora, California
• Shift Time: Days
• Schedule: 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred), Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) (required), Radiologic Tech (RT) in California (required), Fluoroscopy license in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment (required), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor (required), Advanced Certification in the modality of CT (required in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California), Venipuncture certification (preferred).
• Essential Functions: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals across age groups from adolescence to geriatrics. Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation, use PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images appropriately, maintain accurate records and billing, ensure data confidentiality per HIPAA, perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment, and manage supply inventory.
• Additional Information: All vaccinations required as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, with medical and religious exemptions where applicable.
